Our one day course aims to teach young people how to manage common medical problems whilst abroad and learn how to prepare for an adventure of a lifetime!

Taught by UK trained doctors who combine their work as general practitioners with event and expedition medical work both in the UK and worldwide

Going on a gap year gives young people the chance to travel, work and volunteer in some incredible destinations around the world, giving them opportunities to meet new people, learn new skills, and develop friendships and memories to last a lifetime!

For many young people, this may be their first big trip away from home.

It may be very remote...

...with a different climate,

...new customs,

...or a different language

These experiences form part of why we love to explore and travel, but it helps to be prepared for the "what if" situations, just in case things don't go to plan.

What will you do if you get sick?
Should you take a first aid kit with you?
Will you get malaria?
What about diarrhoea?
What should you do if your friend collapses in the street?

We can also provide bespoke first aid courses to schools, clubs and small groups. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
